English style garden

English gardens amaze with beauty and elegance. Their creation demands a lot of work, but the effect is worth the effort. Here are some rules needed for the English garden arrangement.
Rules and necessary elements of English garden design:

  1. Irregularly shaped flower beds with herba perennis.
  2. Flowers should be planted in decorative pots and large vases.
  3. Elegant, but mouldy sculptures
  4. Places for rose shrubberies.
  5. Large grassy area, like a glade or a meadow.
  6. Stone elements, like low rock walls or ruins.
  7. Clusters of shrubs which look “wild”.
  8. Stone walls with windows.
  9. A little pond or water spring.

As you can see, modern English garden design differs from the ones from the past. Nowadays the natural look is more important than geometric form.
